Three synchronized lights moving in sky tonight

I have to post this because this is one of the most spine chilling things I’ve ever seen; witnessed at the same time with my friend Chuck tonight at about 1:15 a.m.

We happened to come out in our courtyard in our condo in Fremont (a township north of Seattle) tonight, calling it quits to a social gathering.  Out of the blue I pointed up into the sky–it was a perfectly clear night and the stars were brilliant–and my intention was to indicate how amazing it was to see such stars.  At that very moment we noticed what appeared to be three–THREE–quickly moving pricks of light.  My first impression was that they were satellites.  They were moving rapidly across the the center of the sky (the zenith) bearing due west.  This WAS surprising.  One of the pricks of light, however, was in an oblique trajectory to the other two.  If it continued its path it would have intersected the trajectory of the other two.  IT DIDN’T!!!!!  The wayward “prick” righted itself almost instantaneously and met the trajectories of its fellow pricks!  In other words, the wayward prick of light met with the others and continued in their path–equidistant from one another in an unmistakable line to the west.

Chuck estimates it was a 15 degree arc they traversed.

I can give no other explanation to this event than to call it a sighting of some sort of extraterrestrial event!  I can see no other explanation.  This is, by far, the most amazing thing I’ve seen in my life (…next to seeing a pod of orcas pass by our campsite two years ago.)
