West-Looking EVO Wall Gets Facelift

Caught these two hard-working artists, Jesse Duarte and Benji Richardson, out on Sunday night putting the finishing touches on a mural on the west wall of the EVO building – where NW36th turns into Leary Ave.  They came up from Tacoma to help promote the clothing company Imperial Motion.  According to Mr. Duarte, the mural will be on the wall for about three months.  “Just who is that guy on the wall?,” you’ll be asking yourself when daylight strikes.  Neither Benji nor Jesse was sure…

“Great Stuff” seals gaps and cracks …anywhere!

leave a comment »

Out in Ballard today I discovered this great way of sealing up a car door that smashed.  Obviously, this person didn’t care what others would think of this on-the-fly repair.  And you have to give him or her credit for ingenuity.  The only drawback is, there’s probably no passengers riding in this VW.

This Great Stuff could be trimmed off with a sharp razor blade.
